Training & Placement Cell
Sri Sukhmani Institute of Hospitality and Management (SSIHM) have formed an active Training and Placement Cell to ensure maximum placements for pre- final and final year students. The compulsory training includes industry visits to top hotels like Taj Chandigarh, Park Plaza, Le meridian Delhi,
Radission Jalandhar, Oberoi Mumbai, JW Marriot, Texas Bhog Mallo Beach Resorts Goa, and various organizations etc. The cell also helps the students to achieve competitive career skills and improve the weak areas of their personality. The cell also continuously devises plans and practical steps to, increase industry expose and hands-on training. Sri Sukhmani institute of Hospitality and Management has numerous well equipped labs for the students of BBA, BCA, MLS besides this labs like computer lab, communication lab etc.
Central Library and seminar hall :
The SSIHM library has become the hub for all the literary activities of the college, the college library is computerized and well stocked with thousands of books on shelf. The college library has a good stock of graduation and post graduation books for students and faculty. The library has an electronics media section that provides access to wide range of education software programmers and training material on CDs and DVDs. Conference Hall & Seminar Hall A well-furnished fully air conditioned conference hall is adequately supported by audio-visual aids such as camera, VCR, TV, Computer, LCD Projector and public address system. The hall is available for conducting conference, meetings, group discussion and for discussion-oriented activities.
Seminar Hall:
The fully air conditioned seminar hall has been specially designed to cater the need of the campus for holding special and expert lectures. The hall can easily accommodate more than 200 students. The Seminar hall is fully equipped with all the audio/visual aids and peaceful ambience making it is ideal for conduct of various National and international seminars,etc

The college also provides the facility of nationalized bank in the premises of the campus, where the staff as well as the students can open an account.

The college has its own dispensary where the medical facilities exist for the students and staff members. Qualified staff and proper stock of medicines have been ensured by college authorities.
Transport Facility:
Sri Sukhmani Group maintains a fleet of newly purchased busses for conveyance of the students and staff from the neighboring cities of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Patiala, Ambala etc.The faculty helps those desiring to commute daily. These buses start of from Chandigarh, Ambala, Mohali, Panchkula, Manimajra, Rajpura and Patiala to the institute and back. These busses run on cooperative payment basis.
Hostel Accommodation:
Sri Sukhmani Group has separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms and mess of each hostel is equipped with modern facilities. Each hostel has a residential warden to ensure implementation of discipline and atmosphere that is conductive to learning. Cable TV connection in common room, Facility of indoor Games, Medical Aid, Telephone Facility, Gymnasium , wi-fi etc. are provided.
Gymnasium:
To help the students stay in prime of their health, the college provides a well furnished Gymnasium hall. The Gym boasts of all the modern and latest exercising machines for both boys and girls.Weight training, cardio-training, Yoga and Aerobics are also taught by trained instructors. The Gym also remains open for practice sessions of Table Tennis Badminton, Basket ball etc.The equipments are checked at regular intervals and are well maintained.
