GOLDEN COMPLEX
1.Golden Complex Limited was registered with the ‘Additional Registrar of Companies’ NCT Delhi & Haryana on 13 December, 1994.
2.It was created to undertake the commercial work resulting from R&D & other technological activities of Sri Sukhmani Group of Institutes. After Institutes under SSGI reached good standards on imparting quality education & interaction with industries to promote their growth on a globalized scale, R&D work was started in full swing. The college has recruited a large no. of officers with R&D and industrial experience both in public & private sectors. Once prototypes produced under the guidance of M.Tech students & faculty are approved, commercialization through industry starts. Golden Complex under the Chairman ship of Shri. Avtar Singh & managed by Air Cmde (Retd.) J.S. Kalra. undertake these activities.
3.The R&D projects are as follows:-
- Development, repair & manufacture of bearings for aerospace applications.
- Indigenous substitution of various items currently imported by the Armed forces.
- Improvement of the existing products, manufactured by Defence PSUS, Ordnance Factories, Army Base Workshops & IAF Base Repair Depots, Naval Dockyards etc.
- Arranging JV partnerships between Indian & Foreign companies. Enable foreign supplies to avail maximum benefits of Offset provisions of GOI Defence procurement procedures.
- Creating supply chains for efficient servicing of the Indian Armed Forces operational units.
