Post Graduate Diploma in Management {PGDM} (Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, govt. of India).The Institute offers Two-Years Full-Time Programme Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD,Government of India. While the programme is based on the standard model of management education as practiced by top ranking institutions, this programme is distinguished by its rigour and discipline.

Objectives:

The two-year programme is designed to prepare competent men and women for careers in management in the corporate sector and in public sector organizations. The course provides a generalist perspective which enables students to view the organization in a holistic manner as well as place it in the context of the larger environment. The students are also trained in technical and functional business skills in respect to the areas of specialization (namely Finance, Marketing, IT and Operations, Human Resource Management etc.). They are encouraged to develop their analytical and integrative skills so that they can define problems with clarity and formulate alternative solutions for implementation.

Programme Objectives:

To impart in-depth knowledge of management concepts and their application in live situations. !To stimulate the thinking process and inquisitiveness !To develop leadership qualities, team sprit, analytical abilities and entrepreneurship To develop soft skills and to ensure holistic personality development.

Pedagogy:

Class room teaching, case studies, interactive sessions, seminars, workshops and industry visits shall be conducted. The students shall be given home assignments designed in such a way that they are required to apply their fundamental knowledge and reasoning ability to arrive at the solution. Special focus shall be given to ensure that students develop an All-rounded personality. Various Personality Development and communication skills sessions shall be provided to the students on regular basis to supplement their hard skills with soft ones. Along with the professional expertise, the programme also emphasizes on training students for teamwork through development of human relations, skills and attitudes.
